Junior, Bellingham, Wash.
Carter captured the individual crown at the Paul Short Invitational with a time of 21:47 over the 8K course. She beat a field of 240 runners, while finishing eight seconds ahead of her nearest competitor. With the strong showing from Carter, Grove City placed second among a field of 39 teams.

Hey Coach, I think you meant 6k for Carter's victory run here.... It's Lee, and I've been happily following the team for the last few weeks. Looks like the hard work is really paying off!
