Saturday saw another impressive performance for both the mens and womens Grove City cross countryteams. The two teams that beat our women are both nationally ranked (#12 Dickinson and #32 Ohio Wesleyan). Grove City is ranked 4th in our region beat 8th ranked Gettysburg. While they also finished ahead of the third ranked Blue Jays from Johns Hopkins, this was the B-team for Hopkins, the A-team having competed on the wast coast.
As for the men, in our region GCC is ranked 8th. While they beat 4th ranked Dickinson and 5th ranked Johns Hopkins today. it is noted that several of Dickinson's top runners did not compete today, and this apparently was Hopkins' B-team, as the A-team competed on the west coast. GCC also beat ninth ranked Gettysburg today, which was running their full team.
