The Mideast Regional Rankings were just released. Special thanks to Coach Marty Owens of Susquehanna who is the coordinator for the regional rankings for the Mideast this year. The top ten in the region, as voted by the participating coaches, are as follows:
1. Haverford
2. Allegheny
3. Carnegie Mellon
4. Dickinson
5. Johns Hopkins
6. Salisbury
7. Messiah
8. Swarthmore
9. Elizabethtown
10. Gettysburg
Note that five of these teams will be running at the Paul Short Invitational on Friday (Dickinson, Johns Hopkins, Messiah, Elizabethtown and Gettysburg). Haverford, Allegheny and Carnegie Mellon will also be at Paul Short, but they are running in the Brown Championship race (for Division I teams and Ranked Non-Division I teams).
